Transport Trailer's How To Series
How to install a Bedliner in Semi Trailers
Preparation: We start by thoroughly cleaning the interior of the trailer, removing any debris, dirt, or rust. This ensures a clean surface for the bedliner to adhere to.
Measurement: We then measure the dimensions of the cargo area, including length, width, and depth. This helps determine the size and shape of the bedliner needed for proper fitment.
Cutting: We cut the bedliner to the appropriate size using specialized cutting tools.
Installation: We apply adhesive around the outer edges and we use screws to secure the bedliner to the trailer’s interior surfaces for a tight and secure fit.
Sealing: Once the bedliner is in place, we seal any seams or edges to prevent water intrusion and maximize protection.
Curing: We allow sufficient time for the adhesive or sealant to cure before loading cargo into the trailer.
Maintenance: Regularly inspect the bedliner for signs of damage or wear, and reach out to us for any necessary repairs or replacements as needed. Routine maintenance will help extend the lifespan of the bedliner and ensure continued protection for your trailer.
